The opening module of a new Global EMBA class is always an exciting time for everyone on campus, as we welcome the latest cohort of 110 bright, ambitious executives coming together from 21 countries and regions across the world to begin their life-changing journey at CEIBS.

Meet the new students of the GEMBA 2023 cohort

As you can see, the Global EMBA 2023 class is an exceptionally talented, diverse, and driven collection of top executives that hail from dynamic organisations based in China and beyond. Even though this is the first cohort we've assembled after COVID, 41% of the class comes from outside the Chinese mainland, and 29% are fly-in students coming from 30 locations around the world.

They are a professionally diverse group too, with 25% coming from Chinese companies, 17 engaged in entrepreneurialism, 6 PhD holders. And the whole class represents a vast range of different sectors from professional services, pharma, automotive and energy etc.

Though their individual goals and motivations vary, they are all committed to absorbing the most transformative academic experience of their lives, as it leads them into an exciting new chapter in their lives and careers.
