Robert joined CEIBS in May 2019 as CEO of CEIBS Zurich.

He holds a B.A. in English Literature, Religion and Philosophy from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia,  and an MBA in Finance and International Business  from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a PhD in International Economics from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Robert’s professional experience spans over 35 years in education, banking, and consulting.  He is a regular speaker and moderator.

Robert took his first trip to China in 1988 and has been a friend and follower of China ever since.  Originally from the US, he has lived and worked in Europe since 1988. Robert has dual citizenship in the US and Switzerland. He has worked in the US, the UK, Germany, Nato-Europe, Switzerland and Vietnam. He has travelled to 70 countries for work and pleasure.

Robert loves spending time with his large family. Having four daughters and currently 5 grandchildren keeps him busy. When he is not spending time with his family, he is in the mountains hiking or skiing. He is an avid golf player.

Ms. Mingming DOU WANG joined Richemont in 2012 as Director of China Affairs, reporting directly to the Group CEO as a member of his Executive Committee. Her responsibilities mainly consist of the Group's strategic projects in connection with its global Chinese market and clientele, monitoring the Chinese  macro-economic  environment,  lobbying  with  Chinese  official  &   business  entities,  and providing operational support to the Group’s Maisons global Chinese activities.
Ms.  DOU  WANG   acquired  a  rich  experience  with  French  international  companies  L’Oréal  and Groupama International after graduating from Beijing Foreign Studies University and Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle.

Ms. DOU WANG is a board member of Fondation Victor Segalen promoting mutual understanding between France and China.
