This year, we have witnessed the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in China and its rapid spread to the rest of the world. Although the Chinese economy was hit hard in the first quarter, it has since rebounded, and China is likely to be the only major economy that will achieve positive GDP growth in 2020. With the global economy experiencing its deepest recession since the Great Depression, what is the outlook for the future of the Chinese economy? In this webinar, CEIBS Professor of Economics and Finance Xu Bin will share his views on the Chinese economy in the post-pandemic era.
